Torre dell'Orso Italy

Torre dell'Orso, mythical land, originally a port of the ancient city of Roca, cited in the Aeneid by Virgil. Today it is a paradise of silver sand and turquoise sea, immersed in the unique landscape context of Salento. Torre dell'Orso is part of the Marina di Meledugno, in the province of Lecce. It combines tourist receptivity and hospitality with unspoilt nature and ancient historical remains. A heritage that has earned him a Blue Flag from the Foundation for Environmental Education. Its "symbol" is the sighting tower that dominates the beach. Area of suggestive natural monuments, such as the bay from which you can admire "Le Due Sorelle" ("the two sisters"), two cliffs that rise from the transparent sea.
